Cervical Screening

Cervical Screening is offered to women aged 25 – 64 to check the health of cells in the cervix. It is offered every 3 years between 26 and 49 and every 5 years between the ages of 50 and 64.

Breast Cancer Screening

Breast cancer screening is offered to women aged 50 to 70 to detect early signs of breast cancer. Women aged over 70 and over can self-refer.

Breast cancer screening used a x-ray test called a mammogram that can spot cancer when they are too small to see of feel.

Bowel Cancer Screening

NHS bowel cancer screening checks if you could have bowel cancer. It’s available to everyone aged 54 to 74 years.

The programme is gradually expanding to make it available to everyone aged 50 to 53 years old.
