Well Person Clinic

All patients between the ages of 16-75 are invited to attend. The practice nurse will give advice on weight loss, exercise, smoking, check blood pressure and other health issues. For more information contact the surgery.

Patient Participation Group

Patient participation group. Please ask at reception if you are interested in joining our group.

Adult Travel Vaccines

The practice nurse is available to give advice and organise immunisations. Some travel immunisations can be arranged for holidays or working abroad. Contact the surgery for further information.

Heart Disease/Diabetes clinic

The clinic is run by a chronic disease management nurse and is by invitation only.

Cervical Screening

The practice has its own recall system in addition to the contractor service agency and patients between the ages of 25 and 64 will be invited when their test is due. This test is carried out by the practice nurse.

Asthma/COPD Clinic

This clinic is run by the practice nurse.

Antenatal Clinic

This clinic is held weekly at both surgeries. Contact reception to make an appointment.

Baby clinic

Pre-School immunisations and development checks are carried out by GP and practice nurse.

Home Visits

If your feel that your problem is urgent or you are unable to attend the surgery contact the surgery you are registered with and try to give the receptionist as much information as possible so visits can be done in order of priority. Patients should attend the surgery whenever possible.

Out Of Hours Service

We provide a 24-hour emergency service. The request will be dealt with by a doctors deputising service when the surgery is closed. The telephone number for this service is available on the surgeries answering machine. Please ring 0191 4560463 for details.
